Mr. Carvajal concentrates his practice on commercial, finance and corporate areas, at domestic and international level. He has broad experience advising finance transactions: syndicated local and international loans, debt restructuring, bond offerings and securitizations, focused on foreign investment and exchange regulation. He also leads project finance transactions, especially in connection with energy and natural resources, and infrastructure projects. He regularly participates in several financing transactions and in securities placements, and he continuously advises local banks in regulatory matters.

He is currently a professor in commercial law at Universidad de los Andes and in the LLM program of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile Law School.
