Prior to working in Santos Elizondo, José Antonio was in charge of the regulatory matters of an international law firm well-known in the energy industry, where he was part of the team advising the Energy Ministry in the implementation of the first power market rules. José Antonio is author of multiple articles in domestic and international publications on energy matters and for more than two years he has been the professor of the Bases and Principles of the Legal Framework for the Reduction of Carbon in the Energy Sector at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. He was named “National Expert” by Lexology for his contribution in the Mexico Chapter of Electricity Regulation 2022.
