John has significant experience with the Uniform Commercial Code, including Article 2 (sales), Article 5 (letters of credit), Article 8 (investment securities), and Article 9 (secured transactions). He served as a member of the Tennessee Bar Association/Tennessee Banker's Association, Joint Study Committee on Revised Article 9 of The Uniform Commercial Code. He has lectured on various topics related to finance and business transaction matters.
