John Jett

John Jett represents plaintiffs and defendants in commercial and intellectual property litigation before state and federal courts as well as in arbitration. John primarily works with clients operating at the intersection of two or more of the technology, financial, telecommunications, franchising, and entertainment industries. Representative clients include AT&T, Truist, Aaron’s, Fidelity Information Systems, Global Cellular, NewPoint Media, Veritiv Corporation, the Estate of Martin Luther King, Jr., Gladys Knight, Flowers Foods, and ThinkFactory Productions.

While representing deserving businesses and individuals, John has helped clients prevail on substantial claims, including an eight-figure victory on behalf of a plaintiff corporation. While representing defendants, he has defeated numerous major claims, often through dismissals or summary judgments, but also at trial and arbitration where John has represented clients in venues across the southeast from Washington, D.C. to Texas.
