John Jephson

John Jephson is a founding partner at Corvalier. He advises global ultra-high-net-worth families, particularly in Latin America, on how to structure and preserve wealth across generations and borders.

John’s career spans senior roles at SG Hambros Bank & Trust in The Bahamas and JPMorgan in New York, where he developed bespoke strategies for families with complex international lives. His advice is shaped by decades of cross-border experience and a deep understanding of the pressures facing global families today.

John works alongside other professional advisors to provide an independent fiduciary perspective that complements existing relationships and enables clients to navigate complexity with confidence. He helps create structures that are both technically robust and thoughtfully aligned with the people, relationships and ambitions they are intended to serve.

He holds a BA in International Relations from Vassar College, an MBA from Columbia Business School, and is an alumnus of the Owner/President Management Program (OPM 53) at Harvard Business School. He also serves on the boards of several privately owned companies.

A dual US and French citizen, John is fluent in English, French, and Spanish. He brings a multicultural mindset to his work, combining nuanced thinking with a highly personal, relationship-led approach.
