John F Wilson KC is the senior partner of McKinney, Bancroft & Hughes and the chair of its Executive Committee.

He is also chair of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group and the Admiralty, Shipping & Aviation Practice Group. He is Vice-Chair of the Trust & Private Client Practice Group. John’s specialties include trust and private client advisory, which allows him to provide bespoke advice to HNW and UHNW clients, as well as tailored solutions to the unique needs of banks and trusts.

He is one of the most sought after commercial litigators in The Bahamas and is renowned for his approachability, problem-solving skills and ability to advocate effectively for his clients. This has helped him forge longstanding client relationships with a majority of the institutional trust and private wealth management companies operating in The Bahamas.

Wilson KC was admitted to the English Bar in July of 1994 and The Bahamas Bar in September 1994. He became a partner with MB&H in 2001 and senior partner in 2019. In 2020, he was invited to join the inner bar as a Queen’s Counsel.
