Johan is an expert in employment and employee benefits law as well as health and safety. He has extensive experience in corporate restructuring, dealing with collective bargaining cases, strikes, lock outs, discrimination law, disciplinary and litigation proceedings. His expertise extends to employment issues flowing from mergers and acquisitions, workforce reduction programmes, transfers of undertakings and going concerns, harmonisation of employee benefits, cross-border arrangements, retirement funds and medical aid schemes. He also has extensive experience in advising financial service providers on debarment procedures under the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS).
