Joep has a broad practice in intellectual property and advertising law. Joep regularly represents collective rights management organisations on complex high level disputes. Matters include disputes surrounding the private copy levy that run up to the ECJ, as well as other precedent setting matters. Such cases often involve interests worth millions on a yearly basis. Clients trust Joep to handle matters of vital interest to them, such as copyright disputes involving architecture in large building projects and safeguarding IP rights and monetary interests in complex bankruptcy situations.
