Joanne Davies

Jo leads the Employment, Pensions and Immigration (EPBI) team in Wales.

She is one of the region's leading advisers to the private sector as a result of her work on high-profile transactions, TUPE and its practical implications, large scale reorganisations and director disputes. Jo leads the employment work for our corporate and commercial teams and has particular expertise in advising on procurement, business acquisitions and subsequent reorganisations and integration.

Jo specialises in providing employment advice within the regulated financial and health and social care sectors and is also very highly regarded for her advice on TUPE issues both when dealing with procurement and outsourcing in the public sector and on corporate transactions and Group restructuring. She also specialises in advising on the employment aspects that arise in insolvency situations.

Jo builds strong and long-lasting relationships with clients and is particularly valued by clients for her commercial and pragmatic approach to complex and commercially sensitive legal issues.

Jo is also recognised for her supportive and sensitive handling of the negotiation of exits for senior roles and directors.
