Jérôme Terfve is a partner at Tetra Law and heads the Corporate / M&A practice. He specialises in corporate law, with a strong focus on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and complex corporate restructurings. He advises a wide range of clients, including family-owned businesses, mid-sized and large companies (including listed entities), as well as domestic and international investors, on both Belgian and cross-border transactions. He is particularly recognised for his expertise in structuring sophisticated transactions, including pre-deal reorganisations such as carve-outs, spin-offs and other separation processes.
In addition to his corporate practice, Jérôme Terfve co-heads the firm’s Tax practice, where he focuses on corporate taxation. This combined expertise allows him to deliver fully integrated legal and tax advice, ensuring efficient structuring and robust risk mitigation throughout the lifecycle of a transaction. Clients particularly appreciate his pragmatic and commercially driven approach, combined with a strong out-of-the-box thinking mindset, enabling him to devise innovative and tailored solutions in complex and multi-jurisdictional environments.
