Jerry Brydges has twenty years of experience in commercial litigation across a wide variety of disciplines. He is proud to have started his career as a law clerk to then-Chief Judge Thomas J. McAvoy in the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York, after which he joined the litigation department of the global firm of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York City. Jerry's practice includes the representation of clients in technology, health care, manufacturing, and banking.

Jerry appears in state and federal courts across the country. His commercial litigation practice includes trials, appeals, arbitrations, special proceedings, and mediations involving a variety of business disputes among public and private companies and individuals. He has litigated shareholder disputes, intellectual property and trade secret claims, class actions, the dissolution of partnerships, corporations, and other business entities, as well as numerous contract and non-compete claims involving restrictive covenants of all varieties.

Jerry also regularly counsels the boards of public and private companies on a wide range of litigation and risk management matters, including mergers and acquisitions, whistleblower issues, and corporate governance. He also conducts internal investigations and defends clients under investigation by state and federal agencies.
