Jennifer leads Acuity’s Property Litigation team.
Having joined Acuity from a major, tier 1-ranked regional firm in 2020, she has grown the property litigation team and was promoted to Senior Partner in 2022. She handles a considerable caseload, including complex and high-value claims and is recognised by both The Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners for her prowess in property litigation.
Jennifer specialises in a wide range of complex commercial and residential property litigation, including regularly advising landlords and tenants (individual, corporate and public bodies) in relation to retail, office, industrial, residential and mixed-use premises.
She also represents property developers in connection with complex disputes surrounding acquisition, development and sale of freehold land, and has experience of advising banking clients regarding management of property portfolios and property disputes arising through the administration of estates.
Jennifer regularly acts for management company clients in relation to high-value latent defect claims (including a large number of non-complaint fire-safety disputes post-Grenfell) against developers and insurers.
She also advises social housing clients in relation to various housing management issues, as well as their commercial property matters.
