James Bell is Head of the Personal Injury and Medical Negligence department at Kingsley Napley. James is an expert in all aspects of clinical negligence claims including brain and spinal cases, birth injuries, anaesthetic injury claims, orthopaedic surgery errors, misdiagnosis/delays in cancer cases, GP negligence, amputation cases and hip and knee replacement surgery. James has a wealth of experience in personal injury claims of all types for over 20 years. He has acted for injured and bereaved in group actions including the Ladbroke Grove and Potters Bar train crashes, the Ian Paterson group action and undertook/ supervised a large number of litigation cases arising from the De Puy ASR hips recall. He takes pride in delivering a caring and responsive service to clients.
James qualified in 1997 and has a long and successful track record both in terms of casework and managerial experience. He has led large teams on significant and successful group actions. He has been with Kingsley Napley since February 2023.
