For almost 30 years, Jacqueline has practiced exclusively all aspects of family and divorce law, including divorce and equitable distribution, spousal support and alimony, child support, child custody including grandparent and third party custody, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and protection from abuse.
She regularly represents clients in the Philadelphia, Chester, Montgomery, Delaware and Bucks counties. Jacqueline was admitted to practice in 1990 and initially served as law clerk to the Honorable Ida K. Chen of the Family Court Division of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
Jacqueline is a skilled and strong advocate trusted by her clients to protect them and handle their cases with sensitivity and discretion. She is committed to educating her clients about family law issues and the process, to provide them with the tools they need to make informed and intelligent decisions for their futures within the confines of the law. She is known for “striking a balance between empathy and assertiveness to obtain desired outcomes for clients.” (Suburban Life Magazine, 2022 Five-Star Attorneys.)
She has handled complex and high-value matters including involving private equity “carried interest” issues, international celebrity business interests, complex property valuations, and multimillion-dollar business interests in multiple industries.
Jacqueline has been actively involved in the 13,000-member Philadelphia Bar Association, including in leadership roles, throughout her career. In 2006, she chaired the Association's 400-member Family Law Section and Executive Committee and dedicated many years to serving as an officer for the Family Law Section and its Executive Committee and as Chair on various Section Committees. She was appointed by many of the Association’s Chancellors over the years to chair multiple Committees and Task Forces, including the Commission on Judicial Selection and Retention.
Jacqueline frequently speaks and writes on family law and divorce and domestic relations issues. She has addressed the Pennsylvania Senate Judiciary Committee on proposed divorce legislation.
