For almost 30 years, Jacqueline has practiced exclusively all aspects of family and divorce law, including divorce and equitable distribution, spousal support and alimony, child support, child custody including grandparent and third party custody, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and protection from abuse.
She regularly represents clients in the Philadelphia, Chester, Montgomery, Delaware and Bucks counties. Jacqueline was admitted to practice in 1990 and initially served as law clerk to the Honorable Ida K. Chen of the Family Court Division of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
Jacqueline is a skilled and strong advocate trusted by her clients to protect them and handle their cases with sensitivity and discretion. She is committed to educating her clients about family law issues and the process, to provide them with the tools they need to make informed and intelligent decisions for their futures within the confines of the law.
She has handled complex and high-value matters including involving private equity “carried interest” issues, international celebrity business interests, complex property valuations, and multimillion-dollar business interests in multiple industries.
Career
Jacqueline was elected Secretary of the Philadelphia Bar Association for 2016, after being elected and serving as Secretary for 2014 and 2015, and Assistant Secretary for 2011, 2012, and 2013. She was appointed by the Association’s Chancellor to serve in 2016 as Membership Chair of the Association. Jacqueline was appointed by the Association's Chancellor to serve in 2010 as Parliamentarian to its Board of Governors and as a member of the Chancellor's Cabinet. She was also appointed by the Association's incoming Chancellor to co-chair its Membership Task Force for 2010-2011, and by the subsequent incoming Chancellor to co-chair that Task Force again for 2012. Jacqueline was elected to the Association's Board of Governors and served a three-year term from 2006 through 2009. In 2007, she was appointed by the Association's Chancellor to chair the Ad Hoc Committee for Pandemic/Disaster Planning, which she chaired at the request of each subsequent Chancellor in 2008 and 2009. In addition, Jacqueline has been a member of various Chancellor's Committees, including the Elections Committee and Commission on Judicial Selection and Retention.
Jacqueline frequently speaks and writes on family law and divorce and domestic relations issues. She has addressed the Pennsylvania Senate Judiciary Committee on proposed divorce legislation.
She was recently elected to the board of directors of The POWER of Professional WoMen (POWER), a Philadelphia-based forum dedicated to advancing the influence of women leaders and developing the next generation of leaders through collaboration and social responsibility.
