J. Scott Andresen

Practice Areas

Scott has more than 20 years experience as a highly respected construction lawyer, representing owners and contractors in complex design and defect litigation, mechanic's lien and other payment disputes, delay claims, and material warranty actions. Based on his experience and collaborative approach, he is also asked to serve as a construction mediator on a frequent basis.

In addition to his construction practice, Scott represents businesses and individuals in complex commercial litigation, including class-action and multi-district tort claims.

Above all, Scott is a civil trial lawyer. He has obtained successful jury verdicts and arbitration awards for clients in more than two dozen cases.

Scott lives in Mendota Heights, Minnesota with his wife of more than 20 years, two teenage sons who make him proud every day, and their beloved family dog.
