Career
Isabel Pizarro is a recognised labour lawyer with over 15 years’ experience advising leading national and international companies on complex employment matters. As Partner of the firm’s Labour Consultancy Practice, she has been instrumental in high-stakes international transactions, particularly those involving significant risk exposure and substantial economic impact.
Her work includes conducting in-depth internal audits and labour reviews that have led to process redesigns and structural adjustments, mitigating potential liabilities and addressing operational weaknesses.
Notable highlights include her role in the audit and transactional process for the acquisition between two major luxury automotive companies; leading investigations into corruption-related employee conduct for multinational corporations in Mexico and Latin America; and advising global companies on establishing operations in Mexico from an employment law perspective.
She holds a Master’s degree in Labour Law from Escuela Libre de Derecho and a Law degree from Universidad del Valle de México, San Luis Potosí.
Her expertise has also been recognised by The Legal 500 Latin America as one of the best labour lawyers in the region, and by Best Lawyers, as one of Mexico’s leading employment law practitioners.
