Career

Irfan M. Tayebaly (BCom, LLB, BBA Hons, MBA) heads the Corporate, Commercial and Transactional law division of the Firm.

Subsequent to completing five years as an international banking and finance legal adviser in England, Irfan M. Tayebaly returned to Pakistan where he has been recognized as a pioneer in banking, finance, corporate and commercial law and regulatory matters in which he has been practicing for over forty years. He has been consulted by leading private institutions as well as the state and legislative bodies for advisory on the most complex legal issues in the country.

He is widely acknowledged, by local and international clients, as a leading lawyer who understands business needs which greatly facilitates valuable out-of-the-box solutions. He advises on M&A transactions, joint ventures, financial transactions, foreign exchange laws, and privatization transactions with a focus on providing tailored and bespoke advice.
