Career
Ines Baca has extensive experience in M&A, corporate law and finance. Among her professional experience we can highlight her work at the Legal Department for Corporate Finance and Capital Markets of Scotiabank, where she actively took part in syndicated loans, project finance, capital markets and securities issuance.
Ines is the responsible partner for Diversity and Inclusion in our Lima office and is a member of the Latina America Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

She routinely advises a roster of high-profile clients on transactional mandates, with notable activity in the food and drink and manufacturing sectors. During her professional career, she has participated in several acquisition transactions or sale of companies, assets and shares participations in several sectors of the economy such as retail, fishery, financial system, and services sector, among others. Ines has also participated in financing of different types, both domestic and international.
She frequently advise clients in the structure and execution of corporate reorganizations such as mergers, spin- offs, hive-downs and other complex structures.
