Career
Ignacio is a lawyer graduated from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in 1989. He obtained a Master's Degree in Maritime Law (L.L.M) from Tulane University, New Orleans, U.S.A. in 1991. Specialist in Labor Law, Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (UCAB), Summa of Laude, 1st of his class, 2008.
He attended the International Labor Standards (ILS) Training Program offered by the International Training Center of the ILO and the International Labor Office. The course covers ILS and their application in local jurisdictions.
Ignacio advises clients on contracts, transactions, commercial law, corporate law, labor law, civil and labor litigation, insurance, digital streaming, telecommunications, e-commerce, privacy and data protection and regulation.
Professional Memberships
He is a member of FEDECAMARAS’s Labor Affairs Commission and was an advisor to the Presidential Commission's Subcommittee on Labour Risks to reform the Social Security System. He was a member of the Ministry of Labour's Legislative Technical Team to reform social security and labour legislation, and advisor of the National Assembly's Permanent Commission of Social Development to reform labour legislation, the Social Security System and draft occupational health and safety legislation.

Ignacio co-authored the book "Ley Orgánica de Prevención, Condiciones y Medio Ambiente de Trabajo (LOPCYMAT). Compliance and Responsibilities. Analysis and Experiences 2005-2010."
