Hugo began his professional career in 1991 at Barrera, Siqueiros y Torres Landa. In 2001 he founded his own firm. Seven years later, Hugo rejoined Barrera Siqueiros y Torres Landa (now Hogan Lovells) as partner.
Author of several articles published in Forbes, Expansión, Latin Lawyer, Abogado Corporativo, and The International Comparative Legal Guide, among others.
He constantly is invited to write articles and give interviews regarding employment and labor issues more than ever since Covid-19 pandemic.
Hugo was recently named member of the Latin America Practice Group Steering Group at Hogan Lovells.
