Career
Guillermo Gonzalez has more than 25 years of experience in M&A, real estate, corporate governance, commercial, and corporate matters. He also has broad transactional-related labor experience.
His constructive negotiating and problem-solving approach benefits clients in commercial and industrial real estate sectors. His experience in cross-border and restructurings transactions includes specific knowledge in the maquiladora and automobile sectors.
He has led negotiations on restructurings, start-up operations, and acquisitions, including for family-owned businesses.
Guillermo joined Barrera, Siqueiros y Torres Landa (now Hogan Lovells BSTL) in 1995 and has been a partner since July 2009.
He is a member of the Mexican Bar Association and the U.S.-Mexico Bar Association, and is also a professor at the Facultad Libre de Derecho de Monterrey.
