Hugh has been advising clients on their most significant and complex financial communication issues for over two decades.

He has extensive experience developing and implementing communications programs for litigation support, crises, corporate governance issues, mergers, acquisitions and other financial transactions, shareholder activist defense and proxy contests, earnings warnings and restatements, and executive changes. Hugh also has managed many long-term corporate positioning and investor relations programs.

Career

Hugh is ranked by Chambers and Partners as a top litigation support and crisis communications professional and was selected as one of the Lawdragon Global 100 Leaders in Legal Strategy & Consulting from 2021 – 2024.

Prior to co-founding Reevemark, Hugh was a Managing Director at Sard Verbinnen, where he also served as the firms General Counsel, member of its Executive Committee and Chair of its Legal and Compliance Committee. Previously, he was a lawyer at both Latham & Watkins and Sullivan & Cromwell.

Personal

Hugh received his A.B. from Princeton University and his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where he graduated cum laude, received the Order of the Coif and served as an Associate Editor of the Fordham Law Review.
