Henry Rodríguez

Twenty-five years of experience as lawyer.

Extensive experience in the litigation and dispute resolution areas, including experience as arbitrator at the Costa Rican Chamber of Commerce. Participation of litigation teams in international commercial arbitrations at the ICDR and ICC. Likewise, relevant experience in commercial litigation before ordinary courts of Costa Rica and coordination of commercial litigation in other Central American jurisdictions.

Has advised national and multinational companies in the Central American region on financing issues, mergers and acquisition processes, investment banking projects, and negotiation and preparation of commercial contracts.

In competition matters, he advises and represents important companies on issues such as policies design, business planning, defense of cases before authorities and merger control.

He participates in the direction of the Commercial Law, Competition Law and Commercial Litigation practices of Nassar Abogados and coordinates the operations of Nassar Abogados in the jurisdictions of Honduras and Guatemala.

Guest speaker at events organized by the United States Embassy in Costa Rica, the Florida Bar in the city of Miami, and the American Bar Association in Miami, Florida.

Former Commissioner, Commission to Promote Competition, Ministry of Economy of Costa Rica.
