Henrietta has considerable experience across the full range of criminal work, including homicide, complex fraud and serious organised crime. She has a particular interest and expertise in cases involving rape and child abuse, especially allegations of historic abuse and cases concerning the most vulnerable.

In 2020, before being appointed KC, she appeared as junior counsel in the prosecution for Fraud of Dominic Chappell, who famously bought BHS for £1.

“An extremely effective jury advocate,” Henrietta prosecutes and defends. Her recent notable trials involved charges of Murder, Kidnapping, Gang Rape, People-trafficking, Conspiracy to Rob, Fraud and Money Laundering. Many of her trials have arisen out of alleged involvement in serious organised crime, from Encrochat cases to those concerning the illicit production of counterfeit medicines.

Alongside her trial work, Henrietta is frequently instructed to provide strategic advice; recent work includes advising on a large-scale child abuse investigation, a long-running Operation Venetic matter and, in 2023, the prosecution of a group of men running an illicit drugs laboratory manufacturing powerful designer opiates of a kind not previously encountered in the United Kingdom.
