Natalie is a skilled and highly-regarded barrister who prosecutes and defends (both as led junior and junior alone) across the full spectrum of criminal offending. She has particular expertise in fraud and financial crime, in addition to a thriving extradition practice.
In 2023, Natalie was one of seven barristers accepted into the Treasury Counsel Pathway Scheme: a 12-month positive action scheme for advocates who have the potential to become Treasury Counsel in the future.
In general crime, she has particular experience of prosecuting and defending in complex, multi-handed cases involving firearms and drugs offences. In recent years, she has successfully conducted a number of trials involving gang-related shootings and relating firearms and drug offences. She is currently instructed in a number of cases involving allegations of corporate and gross negligence manslaughter.
Financial Crime is a particular specialism, and Natalie is regularly instructed to prosecute and defend in high profile, high-value, complex fraud cases – both as led junior and junior alone.
Natalie is a well-established extradition practitioner, and she represents Requesting States and Requested Persons at first instance and in the High Court. She represented the Polish Judicial Authority in the recent and landmark Supreme Court case of Andrysiewicz [2025] UKSC 23.
