Henrietta accepts instructions in all areas of private family law. She has appeared in a number of reported cases, both as sole counsel (e.g. RI v NG [2025] EWFC 9 (B), UG v NN [2022] EWHC 8 (Fam)) and as a junior to other members of chambers (e.g. GO v YA [2024] EWFC 411, CG v DL [2023] EWFC 82, Horohoe v Horohoe [2020] EWFC 102). As well as representing clients in court, Henrietta is often instructed to undertake advisory and drafting work.

In addition to her caseload, Henrietta sits on various family law committees. She is a member of the Editorial Board of the Financial Remedies Journal, and was a member of the financial remedies sub-group of the Transparency Implementation Group, which wrote a report for the President of the Family Division containing recommendations about what changes should be made to the media’s ability to report on private financial remedies hearings. Henrietta is particularly well placed to advise clients concerned about privacy and media attention given her involvement in the Transparency Implementation Group.

Publications

Henrietta is a co-author of the annually revised textbook Financial Remedies Practice (Class Legal), together with Sir Nicholas Mostyn (formerly Mr Justice Mostyn), Lewis Marks KC, Richard Sear KC, Gavin Smith, Phillip Blatchly, Joshua Viney and Henry Pritchard.
