Guohua Tang is a highly skilled patent agent with nearly two decades of experience in intellectual property, specializing in chemistry-related patents. As Deputy Manager of Watson & Band Intellectual Property Agent Ltd., Mr. Tang combines his strong technical background in materials science with extensive legal expertise to provide comprehensive patent services to clients.

Mr. Tang graduated from the East China University of Science and Technology in 2004 with a master's degree in materials science. Upon graduation, he joined Watson & Band, engaging in patent agency services and qualifying as a patent agent in 2009.Throughout his career at Watson & Band, Mr. Tang has held significant positions, including Director of the Chemistry Department, before assuming his current role as Deputy Manager of the Intellectual Property Agent Ltd. His progression within the firm reflects his growing expertise and leadership in the field of patent law.

Mr. Tang's practice encompasses a wide range of patent-related services. He has successfully processed numerous chemistry-related patent application cases, providing expert opinions on substantive examinations of invention patents in areas such as high polymer materials, inorganic materials, organic chemicals and medicine. His ability to craft compelling observations has resulted in successful acquisition of patent rights for many clients. Mr. Tang has been consecutively ranked in the "Intellectual Property: Non-contentious" area in the Chambers and Partners Greater China Region Guide from 2023 to 2026.

汤国华先生2004年毕业于华东理工大学，获材料学硕士学位，毕业后即加入华诚律师事务所从事专利代理工作，并于2009年获得专利代理人资格，汤国华历任华诚律师事务所化学代理部主管，目前任上海华诚知识产权代理有限公司副总经理，至今已有20多年的从业经历。

汤国华处理过大量的化学领域专利申请案件，在发明专利的实质审查答复方面为申请人提供意见、向专利局答复，从而促成专利授权，他经办的专利申请的具体专业领域涵盖高分子材料、无机材料、有机化学和医药。

汤国华当前的工作主要涉及专利性评价、专利无效分析、出具侵权或不侵权（FTO）意见、代理专利无效案件并参与无效口头审理、以及代理申请人针对无效决定、复审决定提起行政诉讼。此外，汤国华还为华诚律师事务所的诉讼律师在办理专利侵权诉讼方面提供支持和协助，帮助进行侵权判定分析。

汤国华在专利无效和专利侵权分析方面有着丰富的经验，曾代理多家知名国有企业和外国企业参与专利无效案件并取得胜利。汤国华2023至2026年间连续四年荣登《钱伯斯大中华区法律指南》“知识产权：非讼”领域榜单。
