Gregory Spitzer is a partner in the Real Estate practice of the Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s Chicago office. He represents public and private companies and private equity firms in connection with acquisition, disposition, leasing and financing transactions. Mr. Spitzer’s practice includes all aspects of commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions, development, leasing, financing, JV, and re-structuring matters. Mr. Spitzer has a particular focus in the areas of data centers, communication, power and energy facility transactions, and structured leasing transactions, including synthetic leasing, sale-leaseback, and leverage lease transactions. Mr. Spitzer represents owners, private equity investors, developers and lenders in data center, retail, office, industrial, and hospitality financing and JV matters. Mr. Spitzer regularly represents both landlord and tenants in data center, office, retail, industrial and other commercial leasing transactions. He also has extensive experience representing debtors, secured lenders and other creditors in workout, restructuring and bankruptcy real estate related matters.
