Glenn is a senior member of the corporate team and a specialist on corporate insurance matters. He has extensive experience of large complex M&A transactions and corporate and commercial law issues. He has advised clients on some of the insurance sector's largest M&A transactions and is recognised as an expert on New Zealand insurance regulation.
Glenn has been involved in many of the M&A transactions in the insurance sector in recent years, including Resolution Life's acquisition of AMP Life (IFLR Asia Pacific's 2021 M&A Deal of the Year), AIA's acquisition of Sovereign, Nippon Life’s purchase of Resolution Life, Ando’s sale of a majority shareholding to Envest and IAG's purchase of the ongoing insurance business of AMI Insurance.
He has advised New Zealand and overseas clients on numerous large M&A transactions. He advises prominent New Zealand corporate entities including Rank Group, Goodman Fielder, AIA, IAG, Resolution Life and Apex Group.
Glenn is also a specialist on employee incentive arrangements. He authored the New Zealand chapter of Global Law and Business Employee Share Plans: International Legal and Tax Issues, Second Edition and regularly advises New Zealand corporate clients and overseas issuers on their employee share schemes, including structuring and regulatory advice.
