Ginevra Sforza

Ginevra joined Portolano Cavallo in 2015. She advises Italian and international clients on matters concerning corporate law, M&A, extraordinary transactions including mergers, demergers, capital increases, as well as corporate governance of companies belonging to structured groups with subsidiaries located in different jurisdictions. She has also gained experience in transactions involving the private equity and venture capital sectors.

Ginevra is a member of the French desk of the firm and, due to her studies of both Italian and French legal systems with active participation in courses also held in Paris, she advises in French language, French and francophone companies having interests in Italy or Italian companies that want to expand their business in France. Due to her knowledge of both Italian and French law systems (this latter, studied during the University double degree program), she provides assistance also taking into consideration the expectations of the clients according to the laws they are familiar with.

Ginevra has been on secondment at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York City, working in the M&A and Private Equity department assisting the main US private equity funds.

In 2018 she took part in the International Associate Program at P+P Pöllath + Partners in Munich.

Ginevra has also worked within the firm on the training project of an artificial intelligence platform and is currently involved in the implementation and adoption of AI tools within the firm

Ginevra is an active member of AIJA - International Association of Young Lawyers.

Ginevra is a member of the Professional Women’s Network of Rome (PWN Rome).
