George Antonopoulos

George is a leading energy transactions lawyer with more than two decades of experience advising clients on private M&A, joint ventures, and project development across Canada’s energy sector. He is widely recognized for his counsel on complex commercial arrangements, asset acquisitions and divestitures, and infrastructure development.

George represents upstream producers, midstream operators, project developers and energy investors in structuring and negotiating transactions across the energy sector value chain, including conventional and unconventional oil and gas development, midstream and downstream facilities, LNG, carbon capture, energy transition, renewables and emerging energy technologies.
