Georg Edelmann

Gerog Edelmann is co-head of the practice group Tax. He has many years of experience in advising on the tax structuring of major medium-sized companies, internationally active companies and financial institutions. His main areas of concentration are group reorganisation, financing of groups with cross-border activities and the structuring of company acquisitions and digital business models. In these areas, he also assists clients with tax audits and tax court proceedings. An additional specialisation is advice on securitisation in the fields of tax law and investment law. Georg is co-editor of two commentaries: (i) Umwandlungssteuergesetz, 2nd edition, 2019 and (ii) Außensteuergesetz, 2nd edition, 2018. He lectures on tax law topics.
