Mr. Xiang joined Wang Jing & GH Law Firm in 2006 and joined W&H Law Firm in 2013. He now leads his team in providing legal services to domestic and international insurers, reinsurers, asset management companies, commercial banks and other large enterprises across insurance, reinsurance, healthcare, financial asset management, investment and M&A, and cybersecurity and data compliance.

In the insurance and reinsurance field, Mr. Xiang advises domestic and international insurers and reinsurers on insurance compliance, insurance product design, internet insurance, and the resolution of various insurance-contract disputes. In particular, in the emerging area at the intersection of finance and insurance—financing-type credit and surety insurance—he advises multiple insurers engaged in such business on product design, compliance review and risk control, and the handling of complex financing-insurance risk events and disputes. In the healthcare field, Mr. Xiang leads his team in providing comprehensive legal services—spanning digital health, health finance, health insurance, and data compliance and cybersecurity—to leading domestic and international pharmaceutical companies, internet hospitals, health-technology companies and health insurers. Representative clients in this field include: WeDoctor, Sanofi, ZhongAn Insurance and Taiping Insurance.

In the asset and wealth management field, Mr. Xiang advises numerous insurers, asset management companies and large enterprises on insurance asset-management products, including family wealth management, debt investment plans, equity investment plans and independent-supervisor arrangements. He has also handled a large volume of default matters involving insurance asset-management products, private funds and trusts, and has extensive experience in disputes over medium-term notes and bonds, debt investment plans, private funds and trust products. Representative clients in this field include: Minsheng Tonghui Asset Management, Changjiang Pension Insurance, China Pacific Property Insurance, Pacific Asset Management, China United Property Insurance, Ping An Construction Investment, and Difeng Group.

In the banking and finance, internet technology, and investment and M&A fields, Mr. Xiang's team handles legal matters for domestic and international banks, internet-technology enterprises and large companies, including bank financing, financing trade, bank factoring, independent guarantees, corporate governance, investment and M&A, corporate bankruptcy reorganization/restructuring, and the recognition and enforcement of international arbitral awards.
