Francisco Irarrázaval is a lawyer, university professor and partner of the CEP&D Abogados law firm in charge of the Energy and Natural Resources area.

He is a specialist in energy regulatory issues and development of infrastructure projects, including private and public bidding processes (supply to regulated clients and electricity transmission), electricity supply contracts, and construction of infrastructure projects, property permits and land use, electrical sanctioning procedures, environmental issues and litigation/arbitration in relation to regulatory issues in the energy industry.

He is the author of different academic publications and legal reports.

Since 2015 he has been a professor of Electrical Law at the Universidad de los Andes y Finis Terrae. He is also Academic Director, and professor of the Development and Financing of ERNC Projects course at the Universidad de los Andes.
