Frances leads the real estate disputes team in London. Frances’ clients include: PricewaterhouseCoopers, Lendlease and CBRE Global Investors. She has fifteen years of post-qualification experience acting on high-value, complex, disputes including lawyers/valuer’s professional negligence claims, property-related insolvency matters, contractual interpretation and joint venture disputes. Frances’ practice increasingly focuses on premises risk issues and property-related crisis management. Additional property litigation experience includes advising on vacant possession strategies, complex dilapidations claims, arrears, breach of covenants, rent reviews, rights to light, nuisance and possession proceedings. She has experience of High Court (including TCC), Court of Appeal, County Court, arbitration, adjudication and mediation fora.
Frances joined Linklaters in March 2002 as a trainee.
Frances assists with editing Butterworths Business Landlord and Tenant Handbook. She regularly has articles published in EG and is often quoted in the mainstream press on property related issues including writing an opinion piece for the Times last year.
