Fernando has been working for more than 20 years with infrastructure projects of a variety of sectors in Brazil, with a strong practice representing sponsors, developers, financial institutions, investment funds, multilateral and export credit agencies and other domestic and foreign investors in structured and project financing transactions, including via local and international debt capital markets, as well as merger and acquisitions and debt restructurings. During the years of 2008 and 2009, Fernando was an international associate at Clifford Chance on the firm’s corporate finance practice in New York, NY. Fernando holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, a specialization in Corporate Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Faculdade Milton Campos.
