With over 20 years of experience, Thiago is the leading partner for Project Finance, Credit Transactions, and Banking Law. He stands out for his experience in complex financing transactions of different modalities, debt restructuring and M&A deals. His work for renowned financial institutions (including DFIs), private equity funds and corporate clients in financing, restructuring and m&a projects has been recognized by several publications and been praised by clients and peers, having received many awards for his role (and the team under his leadership) in transactions awarded Deals of the Year by different publications. Thiago worked at the international firm Coudert Brothers LLP in Washington, DC (USA), dedicated to financial transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and infrastructure projects. Thiago holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Legal Studies from Georgetown University Law Center and a specialization in International Law from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS).
