Felipe Cavero Martínez de Campos specialises in corporate commercial law, M&A, private equity and venture capital. He has extensive experience in advising on commercial and real estate contracts and all types of corporate transactions, including tech for equity and media for equity, as well as incentive plans. He has advised venture capital funds and their investees, as well as business angels.

Career

Felipe Cavero holds a degree in Law from the CEU San Pablo University College, with a specialisation in European Community Law, and a Master's degree in Urban Law from the Centro de Estudios Financieros.

He began his professional career at the European Commission in 1996. Subsequently, he worked as a lawyer in Commercial Law at Garrigues from 1999 to 2004, when he became head of legal advice at Grupo Inmobiliario VESA until 2005.

In 2006, he joined the Commercial Law department of Garayar Asociados until 2009 and in 2010 he became an associate in the Commercial Law department of the Madrid office of RCD until 2012. In 2013, he was a founding partner at The Legal Bakery Abogados until 2020.

Professional Memberships

Felipe Cavero is Secretary General of the Spanish Fintech and Insurtech Association (AEFI) in Madrid since 2017.
