Carles has wide experience advising investors, start-ups, technology-based and industrial companies, and public bodies (universities, public research centers and hospitals) on corporate (especially M&A and/or international transactions) and VC and private equity investments and divestments.

Deep knowledge of IP issues, and technology protection, management, exploitation and transfer. Continued legal advice on the definition of protection strategies, software licensing agreements and e-commerce platforms. He leads legal advice on collaborative software development projects and, generally, on IP intensive matters.

He also has wide experience in structuring and advising collaborative R&D projects at European level (Horizon 2020, Eureka, Iberoeka, etc.) and in structuring the deployment of their results.

Career

Carles Ross holds a degree in Law from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and a Master's degree in International Law from ISDE Law & Business School. Carles has spent more than 20 years of his career at RCD, being a partner for more than 12 years.
