Ernesto Raful received a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in 1992, Cum Laude. Later obtaining, in 1995, a Master's Degree in Business Law and Economic Legislation, also from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM).
In 1993, Ernesto Raful obtained his exequatur to practice as a lawyer in the Dominican courts. He is a member of the Bar Association of the Dominican Republic, Inc. and founder of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs, Inc.
Ernesto Raful has been a professor of Civil Procedure Law, Labor Law and Commercial Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) and at the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE).
