Enrique has more than 30 years of experience in tax practice, with a focus on consulting, controversy and litigation. He has represented the largest companies in the country in negotiating agreements and resolving all kinds of disputes with the tax administration. He has also advised clients against procedures involving several of the largest tax settlements issued in Mexico.
Previously, Enrique was partner in different local and international firms, such as EY Mexico (7 years) and Chevez, Ruiz, Zamarripa (17 years).
He has been a lecturer in different professional forums such as the Judicial Television Channel of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN), the International Fiscal Association (IFA), the Barra Mexicana Colegio de Abogados and the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
