Elliot Feldman represents and advises foreign governments, international organizations, American and foreign corporations, and individuals on trade policy, investor-state disputes, and international law. He advises the Government of Canada in WTO cases and has represented clients on five continents. Elliot has been lead counsel for major clients in some of the largest international trade disputes of the last three decades, including notably three iterations of Softwood Lumber from Canada. He is principal author and editor of BakerHostetler’s treatise, Mergers & Acquisitions in the United States: A Practical Guide for Non-U.S. Buyers (English and Mandarin, Wolters Kluwer).
