Ekta Bahl has significant experience in corporate and commercial laws, with specific focus on corporate restructuring, insolvency, private equity and M&A. She has substantial industry-specific experience in the areas of healthcare and life sciences, information technology and infrastructure (with special emphasis on road and power sectors).

Ekta has significant experience in M&A, having advised clients on various structures. Ekta recently advised a pharma company based in Hyderabad with respect to their bid to acquire a pharma company under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, including drafting of the resolution plan. She has also advised a listed pharma company based in Hyderabad with respect to its acquisition of a manufacturing facility in Hyderabad by way of a private treaty under the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Securities Interest Act, 2002 (SARFAESI).
