Career
Teddie is a partner in Seyfarth’s Government Contracts practice and co-chairs the firm’s False Claims, Whistleblower, and Internal Investigations group. He advises clients across the full lifecycle of government contracting—from procurement strategy and bid protests to complex claims, internal investigations, and compliance. His experience spans federal and state courts, including the Court of Federal Claims, Boards of Contract Appeals, the Government Accountability Office, and multiple federal district courts. Teddie is particularly known for his litigation skills, having secured a $367 million judgment in one of the largest trial court decisions ever entered against the federal government. He also has deep experience navigating the False Claims Act, intellectual property in government contracts, and regulatory risk in defense and technology sectors. In addition to his client work, Teddie serves as the Coordinator for the Defense Industry Initiative, supporting nearly 80 companies in fostering ethical conduct in government contracting. He is a frequent speaker and faculty member with Federal Publications Seminars, regularly presenting on ethics and compliance.
