Dirk-Jan Duynstee heads the Litigation Department of Clifford Chance in Amsterdam and is regularly involved in complex and cross border high stakes disputes for multinational clients. He has extensive experience in major commercial disputes acting for private equity, corporate, and banking clients in corporate and commercial disputes, both before the Dutch courts (including, notably, the Enterprise Chamber). He also often represents (supervisory) boards in various proceedings including director's liability cases. He is frequently engaged on matters with significant strategic sensitivity.
Dirk Jan regularly works on cases involving substantial economic and expert evidence components and collaborates closely with other senior partners and counsel on large, multi team matters, acting as a key point of contact for clients on overall case strategy and positioning.
