David is a Senior Partner within Wright Hassall's Commercial Real Estate team. He specialises in investment property sales and purchases.
David is also involved in development work, landlord and tenant transactions, secured lending and a wide range of general non-contentious commercial property work.
Career
David was articled at a specialist property practice in the West End of London, Brecher & Co, from 1992 to 1994. He joined the Birmingham office of Eversheds LLP on qualification, and remained there until 2003, where he was one of the key players on the legal team working on the development and letting of Birmingham's Bull Ring, as well as on the lettings of Bluewater, the UK's largest retail development. David joined WH in January 2004 and became a partner in January 2007.

Experience
- Led a team acting on the £25,000,000 sale of a private rented sector investment, Queen Street Apartments, Leicester, to Aberdeen Asset Management.
- Advised Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park on the redevelopment and new lease of its showpiece visitor attraction.
- Led a team of lawyers acting on an active acquisition programme in 2020 and 2021 worth around £30 million for a private local investor.
