David’s practice focuses on the defense of medical malpractice, hospital liability, nursing home and long-term care facilities, professional liability, and premises liability. He also handles a diverse array of personal injury claims. He has successfully defended hospitals, physicians, nursing homes, pharmaceutical companies, and individual physicians and nurses in Department of Health licensure investigations.

David has been active in professional activities, including an invited speaker for The Florida Society for Health Care Risk Management and Patient Safety (FSHRMPS). Locally, he was appointed by the Board of County Commissioners to serve for four years on the Hillsborough County Health Care Advisory Board. David was a 2016 New Leaders Council (NLC) Tampa Bay fellow and served on the board of NLC Tampa Bay from 2017 to 2019. He has served as a board member for a number of local charities, including Men of Vision. He is a graduate of the Leadership Florida Connect (Class IX) program, and a lifetime Leadership Florida member. He is also active in the Cheatwood Inn of Court.
