David Hoare

David has extensive experience leading clients through all aspects of complex corporate and commercial transactions, with a focus on private equity and mergers and acquisitions. He has developed a confident, common sense approach in his 20-year career in corporate law and is regarded as a highly-capable and focused expert.

He joined Russell McVeagh as a solicitor in 1999. He spent five years polishing his international commercial law practice at Herbert Smith Freehills in London.

David returned to Russell McVeagh in 2006 and became a partner in 2007.

David is the firm's National Practice Group Chair for Corporate Advisory and has previously acted as Chair of Russell McVeagh's board.
