Career
Daniel A. Rozansky has decades of experience as a commercial litigator, with significant emphasis on brand and reputation management in the media and entertainment industry.
Dan represents clients across multiple media and entertainment platforms, including film, television, music, concerts and touring and digital media. He advises clients, including Fortune 100 companies, on best practices for recording communications, and protecting trade secrets and other confidential information; identifying and avoiding potential liabilities in television pilots, screenplays and other creative material in development; and exit strategies for unfavorable business relationships.
Dan has achieved wins in some of Hollywood’s most significant cases in the areas of copyright, trademark, First Amendment, profit participation, licensing, advertising, reality television, right of publicity, right of privacy and breach of implied contract.
Dan has also successfully represented clients in the real estate, toy, banking, insurance, restaurant, clothing, luxury goods, pharmaceutical and travel industries, in areas including trade secrets, partnership, contract, and unfair competition disputes.
