Career

Dr. Daniel Kligler is an attorney at law and a patent attorney in the firm’s patent group, serving as a managing partner of Meitar Patents.

Daniel represents clients in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications in the U.S., Israel and other jurisdictions. He advises clients on patent enforcement and infringement matters, as well as intellectual property transactions.

Prior to joining Meitar, Daniel was a senior partner in Kligler & Associates Patent Attorneys, which merged with Meitar in 2024.

Dr. Kligler's practice focuses on patent drafting and prosecution, opinions, due diligence, contracts and litigation support. He is a member of the Bar in Israel and in New York State and is licensed as a patent attorney in the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the Israel Patent Office.

In more than 25 years as a patent attorney, Dr. Kligler has been involved in drafting and prosecution of several thousand patent applications, for clients ranging from early-stage start-ups to Fortune 500 technology leaders. His work focuses in Deep Tech – cutting-edge innovations in computer science, microelectronics, communications, optics, and medical devices. His strong technical background has enabled him to draft and successfully prosecute patent applications in the most challenging technical fields, including cryptography, image processing, artificial intelligence, advanced medical devices, and quantum computing.
